Hi! I’m Miriam, a journalist, foodie, and consummate traveler. I hail from the great state of California, where fresh, simply-prepared ingredients reign supreme. After graduating from Stanford University I spent time in Russia, which has a very different food culture (think dill, dill, and more dill). Eventually I fled the cold for Tel Aviv, where I’ve been living for the last year.  Living in Israel has broadened my food horizons further, exposing me to a range of spices, fruits, and dishes I didn’t even know existed. Foodie Tel Aviv is a way for me to explore, share, and document Israeli cuisine, in addition to the more Western dishes I tend to cook. I hope you will join me on this culinary journey!
